A shooting in suburban Los Angeles left one civilian dead and three wounded as officers exchanged fire with an armed individual on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.

One person died after being transported to a hospital and two others were in critical condition. A fourth person was “down,”

“We do not have the suspect accounted for,” Hunt said in a press conference, adding that the suspected shooter is a woman “armed with an assault rifle, semi-auto or rapid fire type weapon.” It’s possible that there’s also a male suspect, he said.
